Making Waves on the Coast, Kash Boy Trill Drops 4th Studio Album "Trill Steppa" with a Tsunami of Slaps

The best album released to date by Kash Boy Trill, his fourth solo release "Trill Steppa" lives up to all of the expectations. Boasting features from Shake da Mayor, Pimp C, Soul Prophet and Gucci Mane this album packs punches on every track with confidence in the unique delivery. The first single released December 4th, is "My Swag" produced by none other than WolfPack producer Young L, known for producing the famous Bay Area smash hit "Vans" while signed to Jive records through Too Short. "Wrist Go Brazy" featuring Gucci Mane is produced by Atlanta producer Blokkyuseeme and slaps with hard hitting drums with a hook by the Trap God himself Big Guwop. Confidence is on full display on "No Lackin'" with ryhmes like 'The Black Jackie Chan pop out with a chopshick, trap booming get money be the object, I don't wanna talk if money ain't the topic, strap on my lap don't make a nigga pop it.' There is a second song produced by Young L on Trill's album titled "Put That On." The relationship Trill has with Young L dates back to their high school days when they would frequently meet up to make beats, skateboard at the Berkeley sate park, and go on the road when Trill was invited to tour with The Pack a few times. The rare Pimp C appearance comes from Trill's relationship with production trio The Marauderz. The most inspirational song is "1989 World Series" produced by Oakland producer Eddie Jay which is a tribute song to the hometown Oakland Athletics who just played their final season in history in Oakland a few month ago which I see why Trill is also wearing an A's hat in the album art and tapped in with film director Jean Henderson for the tribute visual to late great hall of famer Ricky Henderson just passed away days after the album was released. Fresno legend Shake da Mayor also makes an appearance on this album with a dope verse over production by Blokkyuseeme and DJ Deezel. Overall this album is extremely well rounded that has a bit of something for everybody's hip-hop taste with production that doesn't miss and features worth checking out! I give this album 5 out of 5 stars.
